Many people contact our office asking whether we can help them obtain a Canadian work visa or find a job in Canada.

Here is what we can — and cannot — do.

1️⃣ Can you help me obtain a Canadian work permit?

Yes — if you already have a genuine job offer from a Canadian employer.

We can assist you with a Canadian work permit application if you have a job offer from an employer who is eligible to hire foreign workers under Canadian immigration rules.

A work permit application often involves two separate parts:

🏢 The employer’s part

The Canadian employer may need to:

  • prove they are eligible to hire a foreign worker;
  • obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), if required;
  • submit an offer of employment through the Employer Portal, if the position is LMIA-exempt;
  • provide supporting documents; and
  • comply with Canadian employment and immigration requirements.

👤 The worker’s part

The foreign worker must then apply for the work permit and provide documents such as:

  • passport;
  • job offer or employment contract;
  • education and work experience documents;
  • biometrics;
  • medical exam, if required;
  • police certificates, if required; and
  • any other documents requested by IRCC.

💰 Professional Fees

If our office is required to assist with both the employer’s part and the worker’s application, the professional time and cost will be higher.

Where our office handles the full process, professional fees may require a retainer of approximately CAD $8,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the case.

If the employer has already completed its part, the professional fees may be lower.

All fees are billed based on actual professional time at our hourly rate.

2️⃣ Can you help me find a job in Canada?

No.

Our office is an immigration consulting practice. We are not an employment agency, recruitment company, or labour broker.

We do not:

  • find jobs;
  • arrange employment;
  • introduce clients to Canadian employers;
  • work with recruitment agencies; or
  • guarantee job offers.

🚫 We cannot help you obtain a job offer in Canada.

3️⃣ If you cannot find me a job, how can you help me?

Although we cannot find employment for you, we can assess your profile and help you understand which Canadian immigration pathways may be suitable for you.

During an initial consultation, we review your:

  • education;
  • work experience;
  • language ability;
  • occupation;
  • training;
  • age;
  • family situation; and
  • immigration goals.

We can then advise whether your background may fit programs such as:

  • Express Entry;
  • Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs);
  • Skilled Worker programs;
  • Skilled Trades programs;
  • employer-supported work permit options; or
  • other immigration pathways.

✅ Our role is to help you understand your options, identify realistic pathways, and prepare a proper immigration strategy based on your qualifications.

📩 Ready to assess your options?

Please complete the “Assess My Chances” questionnaire on our website so we can better understand your background before scheduling an initial consultation.

A consultation allows us to review your situation carefully and advise you on the immigration pathways that may be available to you.
